Suelynn Tan-Stroud, BDS Hons Dundee 2012 Principle Dentist GDC: 226985

Suelynn graduated from the University of Dundee in 2012 with honours and worked as an associate in general practice around Tayside before joining the practice in 2018. She bought over the practice in 2022 once Mr Magliveras retired.

In her spare time she enjoys drawing, playing the piano and running, having completed a few half marathons.

Sally Keenan, BDS Dundee 1985 Dentist GDC: 60081

Sally graduated from the University of Dundee in 1985 where she was awarded the Dall Medical for excellence in porcelain work. She joined Magliveras Dental Care in 1995 and has continually sought to upgrade her skills by attending post graduate courses. Sally enjoys treating anxious patients and specialises in Invisalign orthodontic treatment, anti wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, snoring devices and SmileFast treatments.

Sally is a mother of 3 daughters and enjoys sharing her love of skiing and tennis with them.

Ruben Vara Pompa, Lic Odont Madrid 2006 Dentist GDC: 174992

Ruben graduated from Madrid as a dentist in 2006 after completing his first degree in medical nursing. He moved to Scotland and worked in Edinburgh before joining Magliveras Dental Care in 2009. Ruben has a special interest in oral surgery and specialises in Invisalign, anti-wrinkle injections and implants.

Ruben is kept busy with his Stabyhoun Borré and his other interests include gardening, cooking, theatre shows and singing in a choir. He regularly returns to Spain for his holidays.

Caroline MacKay, BDS Newcastle 1996 Dentist GDC: 71833

Caroline graduated from Newcastle University in 1996 with a prize in periodontology. She is predominantly an NHS family dentist who initially practiced with her own family in Newcastle before relocating to Scotland where she worked as an associate and also ran her own practice. Caroline joined us in 2021.

Her hobbies include sailing on the West coast around Mull with her husband, sons and labradoodle where she has achieved her RYA yacht day skipper and motorboat licence.

Trisha Anderson Practice Manager GDC: 131991

Trisha joined in 2006 as a qualified dental nurse and became our practice manager. She ensures the smooth running of the practice and you will also find her helping out on reception too.

Trisha enjoys socialising, travelling and keeping fit.

Lyz Dental Nurse GDC: 145564

Lyz joined the practice part time in 1987 transitioning to full time in January 1991. Working on reception and as a dental nurse, she has become a familiar face to many patients throughout this time. She enjoys her job and patients (most of them - only joking!). 

In her spare time she enjoys socialising, photography, music and taking long walks with her dogs Lexi and Bo.

Karen Lissimore Dental Nurse GDC: 145574

Karen joined Magliveras Dental Care in 2000 and you’ll find her either on reception or in surgery. She also assists Ruben with implant placement.

Outside of work Karen’s hobbies include scuba diving with her husband in Scotland and abroad.

Nicola Cooney Dental Nurse GDC: 133252

Nicola joined the practice in 2012 where she works on reception and with a few of our dentists in surgery. She also assists Ruben with implant surgery.

Nicola is kept busy with her daughters but also finds the time to keep fit.

Jennifer Crosbie Dental Nurse GDC: 184016

Jennifer joined the practice in 2013 and she can be found on reception or dental nursing in surgery. She also has training in the Childsmile program.

Out of work, Jennifer is kept with busy with her husband, two boys and dog Rudi. She enjoys the cinema, eating out and keeping fit.

Lauren Macleod Dental Nurse GDC: 272514

Lauren joined the team in 2015 as a trainee and qualified in 2017. She can be found on reception as well as in surgery and she also assists Ruben with implants.

Lauren’s hobbies include going to the gym, reading and watching Netflix.

Lauren joined the team in 2021 and is training to be a qualified dental nurse.
